CGSULIT SC530 GM Scan Tool Supports Full-system Diagnose:
SC530 can diagnose all systems for GM vehicles. It is one of the best GM scan tools with relearn capabilities.
Engine System: Read the fault codes and find the cause of the warning light, pointing you in the direction of where the problem was. SC530 code reader will show you the live data stream in a graph, like fuel, cylinder misfire, intake air temperature, etc. Turn off the warning light after repair or maintenance.
Transmission System: With a transmission diagnostic tool, you can get a fault code if there is one. All you need to do is troubleshoot a fault code.
ABS (Anti-lock Braking) System: The SC530 scanner diagnoses ABS problems always starting with a visual inspection of all brake components, reading ABS trouble codes, and viewing the live data to find out exactly where the problem was and resetting the warning light after repair or maintenance.

Was able to use this scanner to find and clear an SRS code for Chevy vehicle. Other scanners I tried to use could not read or erase the code. Parts had been replaced but the code would not clear. Fairly straight forward to use, cleared the code within several minutes of having it connected. Can purchase updates that will allow you to scan other models of cars. Updates seem to be easy as well.

I bought this because I was having trouble with my power lock system on my 03 Pontiac & wanted a budget friendly tool to fix rather than dropping $800+ on a high-end scanner just to access the BCM. This little scanner exceeded my expectations & beyond! Not only did it help me figure out what the problem was & fix it (a bad power lock switch, easy enough fix), I'm able to easily access just about anything in the BCM of my car! Granted, there's not a lot of programmable options in a 2003 Pontiac's BCM, but I did use the scanner for a check engine light in a friend's 2011 Chevy & was blown away by how many options there were. I would recommend this tool to absolutely anyone who is looking for a scanner tool that's a little more advanced than just a standard OB2 scanner.

Had to change the brakes on our 2018 Chevy Equinox which has the dreaded pull lever for the parking brake. I watch a couple videos of the manual way and the scanner way and went with the scanner way so that I didn't break something important and screw it up.
The screen shots are what it took to get to where I needed and the rest was pretty easy. All told start to finish took me an hour to change the front and rear and have the electronic parking break set properly.
Will be getting the software for my F-150 next since it also has the electric parking brake.
Buy with confidence as this tool will do the job needed.
Paid for itself in one use. I had a check engine light come on on my 2016 GMC Canyon and figured I’d get one of these and see if I could take care of the problem myself. The dealership charges a diagnostic fee even if it’s a warranty claim. Hooked it up and within 5 minutes cleared the code which was a simple evap code for the gas cap. Remote start now works again as a result of clearing it.
Simple to use and sure to save you money if it works just once.
GM version works as advertised for crank angle relearn. I plan to add Ford features in the future.
Tips
If you get no power up of device check the OBD port fuse on the car.
If you get no communication. Make sure key is in run with engine off.
Follow the on screen directions exactly.
Car has to be warmed up all accessories off for relearn. Before blaming the tool if it still won't work check the sensor air gap and sensor wiring.

I used this to calibrate a brake position sensor in a GMC Acadia. It worked exactly as advertised. It also came in handy for another issue I had. Overall the scanner works great and it was reasonably priced.

CGSULIT SC530 GM(Chevrolet/ Buick) OBD2 Scanner Car Diagnostic Bi-directional Scan Tool
First I did not receive a warranty card with my order.The manual you get with the scanner needs to give you more info on the different tests and how to perform these test the scanner is capable of performing. I like the scanner but there will be a big learning curve.
