EPB Service - Allows you to perform the service and maintenance of brake systems, including deactivation and activation of the brake control system, bleeding brake fluid, opening and closing brake pads, and setting brakes after disc or pad replacement, on multiple brands of vehicles where electronic brake systems are fitted.
Oil Light Reset - SC870 car scanner offers help to reset the Oil Life Reminder (turn off the Oil Service Light) when the replacement of engine oil is done in case of the impurities in oil may damage the engine. So vehicles can recalculate another optimal oil life change interval depending on the vehicle driving conditions and climate. Your driving safety also gets ensuring.
There are two methods to reset the oil lamp, depending on the vehicle.

6. On-Board Monitor Test: retrieves and displays test results for emission-related powertrain components and systems. I ordered this CGSULIT SC870 Full Systems OBD2 Scanner to diagnose a Check Engine Light (CEL) on my daughters SUV. This is a 2004 vehicle with over 270K miles on it. Her SUV still runs pretty well but it is starting to test my mechanic skills.
I plugged this OBD2 scanner into the vehicle and it fired right up. There was some initial set up to do but not too bad. It picked up on issues with some of the valve clearances. I wasn’t able to make the repair right away, but I was able to turn off the Check Engine Light with this scanner. That was really nice and put my daughter at ease knowing that the repair can wait a little bit and she won’t be seeing the CEL for a while.
I know this was an accurate diagnosis because we actually had the SUV to our mechanic a couple months before who came up with the same error codes.
This is a very nice unit although I do wish there was a way to power it without it being connected to a vehicle or a PC. But that is about my only disappointment with this OBD2 scanner.
My auto repair shop brought this scan tools and used for scan an ABS problem for the first time and found problem of ABS and get it fix all the problem gone Bye Bye and made money back from first time of turn unit on.
I LOVE this unit!!... I have 5 Toyotas that are very reliable, but even good vehicles do strange things... I bought this to track down a door locking fault on my 2010 FJ cruiser... the diagnosis showed a simple short in a wire, vs. replacing an expensive body control Module. It also surprised me by turning off my TPMS light on the dash! That light has been staring at me for months now even though I've got all new tires... I was also able to determine the overall health of the vehicles in a few minutes.... a MUST HAVE if you are looking for a good used car... one of my best purchases of the year.....
This is one high tech scanner! The reason I got this was for my 20 year old Jeep, the check engine light comes on all the time. But lo and behold, the day after I ordered this, my Honda's check engine light came on for the first time ever. I guess I can call that good timing, lol!
I took a couple pics of the device scanning my car and the diagnostic I got from it. I appreciate that it tells you what the code means, rather than just giving you the code number to look up.
The scanner was able to pull up my Vin very quickly. There are a lot of features to this scanner- you can even program routine maintenance alerts! The quick scan is very thorough, on my Honda it went through 48 different categories.
Another cool thing about this scanner? You can connect it to your computer to look at that way. It will download any updates it needs..and those updates are free for the lifetime of the scanner. Very cool.
There is a learning curve to this device, so be sure to read the manual that comes with it. The manual is very helpful.

This code reader is highly versatile and checks just about every component group in the car! It checks, lights, heating and air operation, electronic seat operation, signals, brake lights, engine, horn, etc. This tool will save you thousands of dollars in diagnosis and repair. It also clears codes after you have fixed or replace the part(s) that has an issue. No more going to the dealer or the mechanic unless it’s something super major like an engine replacement or Rebuild! This tool pays for itself many times over! Just Great!

Wow this is impressive! Ive had a few diagnostic readers before but this one comes in a case. The face of it is quite large for anyone to read. Easy to set up and work. Works like a charm, tells the issue, and what to fix. Definitely feel confident in knowing that this reader will tell me all the issues with my vehicle.
Purchased this scanner because of a CEL light on in my Honda Civic which was running rough. I hooked the scanner up pushed auto scan and pulled a Misfire on Cylinder 3 code which helped me diagnose a bad coil pack. This scanner is super quick at pulling and deleting CEL codes and has the capability of showing live data. The reader will quickly scan SRS and ABS lights which makes it super handy and a definite go to whenever a fault light comes on in your car/truck. Also has the ability to reset service reminder lights after performing scheduled maintenance on your vehicle. Another great feature I saw was being able to put your car in service mode if your vehicle is equipped with an electronic parking brake prior to doing any maintenance or repairs on the rear brakes. Perfect for an automotive technician in a shop or a DIY guy working on his own vehicles. Updates are easily done on a computer or laptop with the supplied cords. This scanner is very user friendly and comes in a nice compact case. Would suggest this to anyone looking for a scanner that has alot of features without breaking the bank.
Ordered this for my husband to find out what is wrong with my sons truck. They normally have to go to an automotive store to get a code but with this, we can use it in the drive way. It is big and easy to read. But don’t let the size fool you. It is REALLY light weight. My husband likes the fact that it comes with a case to keep it all together and protected when put away and that It has so many features. He likes that it lets you erase the codes afterwards. Overall this is a great code reader. Me and my husband highly recommend!
