CGSULIT SC530 Pro Ford/ Mercury/ Lincoln Scan Tool OBD2 Scanner with Bi-directional Test 2025

I needed a code reader for my F-150 and my Infiniti QX-80. This reader takes care of both vehicles. Customers service responded in a timely manner to handle my concerns.

The Ford software works good for 7.3 powerstrokes.

I was unable to access Ford PATS key functions.

The regular OBD2 section works great for any vehicle. I have used it on at least 100 cars so far.

Was disappointed it didn’t do what it was advertised to do. Was hoping to be able to run a regen on my power stroke.

I have been looking for a new Scan tool for my newer Fords with bi-directional capabilities. I read about several and decided on this one and am glad i did. I just received it and have scanned all four of my Fords. I have a 2003 F150, 2013 F150, 2018 Ford Edge and a 2019 Ford Transit 250. I am amazed at all the Ford specific features and was able to scan all the ECM, BCM, ABS and Airbag systems. I used my old scanner first and just cleared codes then used this CGSULIT SC 530 and found issues with it my old one did not see. I do not believe you can buy one near this price range that is any better and i highly recommend you get this one. This will pay for itself in the first use because most shops and dealers will charge upwards of 200.00 just for a diagnostic fee. i had some questions about some of the features and contacted the seller and got a very quick response and that was also a deciding factor for me, Great product very easy to use and great customer service.

Nobody got back to me about info regarding a ccd adapter for a dodge airbag system.

I am about to buy this tool because it is the answer to my pats issues.. fixed the instrument cluster odometer flashing. Reinstalled it and car was dead. New immobilizer new fully programmed ecu.. forscan gives a good story but is nothing more than an over priced obd 2 scanner with no capabilities.. can't wait to fix my car.. thank you for having this product .. you have saved. My 2001 convertible from to he junkyard..

I have a 2010 Ford. There are many issues that come up with my car. This is helped me solve many of these problems. One of the problems that I would have is with the ABS system and traction control. This unit helped me solve a lot of the problems that I have with it allowing me to reset the system and also help bleed the brakes. The bi-directional scanner helps with other things to helping locate the problem and to address the situation quickly.

I went back and forth between getting this or paying over twice as much for the IID Gap tool for diagnostics on my Land Rover LR3. The GAP tool may be more powerful but you should really ask yourself if you need that level of capability. This SC530 is more than adequate for me which is just to fix my LR3 when it breaks. I can read codes on all of the Land Rover specific modules, clear faults, view live data, and one of the best features is the live data graphs. It also supports a lot of functions needed for service like deflating the air system, calibrating ride height, and programming keys.

The IID Gap tool costs almost twice as much and is locked to a single VIN#. So you are paying a ton of money for something that will only work on one specific vehicle. So I can take this Land Rover version, buy the Ford software and now tap into all the Ford modules. This is a HUGE benefit.

Used primary for one Ford vehicle, has helped in diagnosis on many other brands. Available library is impressive and up to date.
